After he graduated high school, Mark first found himself considering a career in art. It was at that time he had art put on his body. He discovered his love for tattooing. After graduating, he struggled to sell his paintings and drawings. By becoming a tattoo artist, he’s able to share his art with the world every day.
One of his favorite parts of the business is the people he meets. From the people he works with at From the Heart Tattoo to the ones he meets at shows, the industry is full of fascinating and awesomely dedicated professionals. Learning from other artists is a huge pleasure for Mark.
His specialty is black and grey, including realistic flowers and dot/stipple shading. This gives him the ability to create pieces that last a lifetime and look amazing.
Painting, drawing, cooking, online gaming, and hanging with friends and family are of his favorite things outside of work. Looking back, the moment he packed up, threw caution the wind, and moved to a new city to start his tattoo career with no clientele is one of his proudest moments; it proved to him and everyone else that he can make it happen no matter what.
