For Monique Andujo, tattooing is more than a craft, it’s a calling that came full circle. A lifelong artist, she started tattooing friends back in high school, but life took her on a different path when she became a mom at 19 and pursued a degree in psychology. After the loss of her older brother, Monique felt a deep shift and decided to follow the passion she had set aside years earlier. That decision led her to From The Heart Tattoo, where she apprenticed under award-winning artist Jason Hartz.
Now over a year into her professional career, Monique is focused on growing her skills and becoming a well-rounded artist. She enjoys tattooing a little bit of everything but has a soft spot for florals. Whether the piece is packed with meaning or just something beautiful, she’s all about helping her clients express themselves through ink.
Monique is calm, intuitive, and in tune with the vibe each client brings to the chair. She works collaboratively, making sure clients feel seen and heard from the first conversation to the final wipe-down. Her goal? A great experience, and a tattoo they’ll love for life.
Outside the studio, Monique spends time with her husband, kids, and her beloved cane corsos. She loves boxing, hiking, and creating art with graphite, acrylics, and ink.
