DEAN PRATT

Tattoo Artist

Dean Pratt found tattooing at one of the hardest points in his life and it ended up changing everything. What started as a creative outlet became a lifeline, giving him purpose, focus, and a way to express emotions that words couldn’t touch. Now, four years into his professional career, Dean pours that same energy and meaning into every tattoo he creates.

Rooted in his Hawaiian heritage, Dean started sketching traditional Polynesian patterns as a kid, then dove into pop culture art and custom designs. After apprenticing at Old Traditions Tattoo Parlor in San Jacinto, CA, he developed a distinct style focused on detailed black and grey work, bold color, and deep storytelling. He’s known for creating pieces that range from dark, macabre imagery like skulls and demonic faces to soft, floral compositions that show off his artistic versatility. In 2024, he even took home 2nd place for Small Color Tattoo at the Trusted Tattoo Gathering in Ontario, CA.

Clients appreciate Dean’s balanced vibe, serious about the work, easygoing in the chair. He’s transparent, professional, and all about making sure clients feel heard and involved from start to finish. Whether it’s a late-night session or a walk-in with a big idea, Dean’s goal is to turn your vision into art that lasts.

Outside the studio, he’s either cruising on his motorcycle, exploring nature, or hanging with friends and family. He also works with graphite, charcoal, and acrylics when he's not tattooing. One of his most meaningful tattoos is a tribute to his late brother, a reminder of the connections ink can carry.
